SMC Opens New Community Support & Learning Hub in Beirut

We are overjoyed to open the doors of our newly expanded SMC Community Hub in Hamra, Beirut.

Over the past year, as demand for single-mother family services increased, our team and generous sponsors worked tirelessly to create a dedicated space where dignity, learning, and warmth coexist.

What the new hub features

• The Learning Lab: 16 modern computer workstations equipped with high-speed fiber internet for vocational and remote training.
• Children's Discovery Area: A bright, childproof sensory play area staffed by trained volunteers so mothers can attend workshops with peace of mind.
• Private Counseling Rooms: Soundproof consultation suites ensuring total confidentiality for legal, psychological, and emergency support sessions.
• Community Kitchen & Pantry: A fully outfitted commercial kitchen for culinary vocational training and family meal workshops.

We invite all registered mothers and community allies to visit during our open-house hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
